Wildcat has a heavy focus on security. We take your trust in us to keep your systems secure very seriously. To us, your security is not an optional extra you have to pay for but part of our standard offering. So a device under our management is installed with the following:
- Antivirus: Each device is installed with an Antivirus package. This package feeds back to our helpdesk system to enable us to monitor, analyse and respond to problems as they occur.
- EDR: (Endpoint Detection and Response) Often requested by Cyberware insurance this solution analysis behaviour of software running on a device, responding automatically if required and presenting the results back to our staff for further action and analysis.
- Ransomware Protection: This solution monitors a device for ransomware activity and, if detected, isolates the device from the rest of the network. It then notifies us of the presence of the malware for further action.
- Patch Management: This solution ensures operating system patches are applied to the device and the device rebooted within a reasonable time frame. This is policy driven ensuring each device is fully patched.
- Vulnerability Scanning: “If you can measure it you can manage it” Wildcat provides an industry recognised vulnerability scanning tool at no additional cost to provide metrics on the overall security of the devices on your network. This tool can also scan external interfaces and websites to provide details of vulnerabilities that may exist. Wildcat uses this information to identify and fix security issues before they become a problem or suggest remediation steps that can mitigate the risk.
Many, if not all, of these are extras at other support firms. For Wildcat they are all part of our standard package.
